  • Esta hermosa casa vintage ha sido completamente actualizada. A menos de 10 minutos a pie de Birmingham Southern College, a 15 minutos a pie de Legion Field. 5-10 minutos en coche de UAB y St. Vincents Hospitals, el aeropuerto, el centro, campos de golf, parques, algunos de los mejores restaurantes y vida nocturna de Birmingham.
    Los huéspedes tienen acceso a toda la casa. Las llegadas tardías no son un problema. Registro temprano GRATUITO (debe comunicarse con el anfitrión para conocer la disponibilidad).     Una casa vintage de estilo sureño, auténticamente de los años 40 que ha sido renovada para tener una mezcla de la vida moderna de hoy con un diseño vintage y encantos. Recientemente y completamente renovado, una gran altura de 9 pies + techo de tres habitaciones, dos baños, casa histórica con un gran porche cubierto delantero amueblado con mecedoras, banco, mesa de comedor con sillas y mucha sala de estar al aire libre. Tiene garaje para dos autos en el callejón con patio trasero cercado para facilitar el acceso a la casa sin tener que caminar por las escaleras en la parte delantera. Amplia sala de estar con chimenea de leña y sofá cama de tamaño completo, hermoso comedor formal y cocina y baño grandes totalmente equipados. Limpieza de pisos de madera en todo. Cada habitación tiene cama queen, la habitación principal tiene baño privado, mucho espacio de guardarropas espacioso en cada habitación. Ropa de cama y baño, TV de pantalla plana, cable, wifi, etc. Esta es una casa muy bonita, limpia y totalmente equipada. Una oportunidad para sentirse como en casa por el precio de un hotel.
    Hotel como tratamiento:
    - Nuevas y cómodas sábanas, almohadas, edredones.
    - Tres toallas de tamaño, albornoces, jabón diario para todos 3 en 1, secador de pelo, etc.
    - Cocina totalmente equipada con refrigerador, lavavajillas, microondas, tostadora, licuadora, 1 taza de cafetera Kcup, 12 tazas de cafetera de goteo, utensilios de cocina, toallas de papel, bolsas de basura, etc..
    - Sala de estar equipada con un nuevo televisor inteligente de pantalla plana con cable básico.
    - Wifi con velocidades premium conectadas, aire central y calefacción para toda la casa.

We were there for the Bassmaster Classic and it was the perfect location for us. It was a great home for our family to all be able to stay together.

Kitchen was lovely. Loved the old built ins in the kitchen and living room. So much charm! We felt safe and it was a quiet neighborhood. Lovely front porch. Garage was nice to have. It was a very comfortable vintage/modern home to stay at and would stay again.

Clean, cozy and convenient home in quiet neighborhood. This is a spacious charming older home with modern updates. The only mishap was a little miscommunication with the host. If I ever return I would definitely come back here.

SEC tournament

We stayed here while attending the SEC tournament Hoover. This property allowed easy access to and from Hoover Met Complex. Extremely clean. Perfect for a family!

Nice Spring Break Trip

The House is convenient for the Interstate and thus most of Birmingham is a few minutes away.The house was built in 1935 and has been sympathetically updated while still retaining the more classic feel. Although a little early in the season it has a huge porch showing where people used to spend time before AC.The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook for yourself.In general a great stay.

Convenient location

We came for Barber motorsports event. It was convenient to Barber and. Downtown. Place was clean and comfortable. Excellent value. Neighborhood is seemingly in transition with some nice homes being well maintained and a few that needed a lot of work and maintenance.

Quiet & Family Oriented

This was such a pleasant experience. Best party about it, the host actually ANSWERS the phone!!!! A few quick calls and everything was perfect! She even responded to text right away... The cabinets are filled with all the spices needed to prepare home cooked meals. Everything was clean. Loved the dining room, family room and front porch with a beautiful display of fireflies right after dusk. I won't forget this visit, ever!!!

Good choice

The host was very responsive, polite, and helpful. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the amenities were nice. There was a water pressure issue, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The only thing I’ll say is that some parts of the neighborhood are getting run down. I wouldn’t go so far is called it a bad neighborhood.. But it’s definitely seen better days. On the flipside, the neighborhood was pretty quiet and it’s very well located. Ubers got to us within about 10 minutes every time and we got wherever we needed to go in 15 minutes or less. Very good value for what you pay and I would stay again.

No Urgency/No Negotiation/Not a Fabulous Location

Showed up at the property at check in. No power. Tried calling emergency contacts to no avail. Could not reach either contact and one of those contacts, the owner, had her VM full. Then contacted VRBO and they tried to help and 2 hours later the owner finally contacted us. She was trying to get an electrician over, but it would be dark soon and there were no assurances it could be solved in a timely manner. She offered another property she owned that was smaller. This new property was only 2 bedroom/2 bath. We really were stuck with this option as this was the weekend of the Bama LSU game and there was no availability. So, we took it. The condo was ok but reeked of smoke. When we asked for a discount due to the smaller size and smokey smell, she claimed the condo was in a much nicer neighborhood, as opposed to the fabulous location claim of the original property, and the smoke was from the other condos. She would not negotiate. This was a very disappointing transaction to say the least.

Enjoyable stay

The house is spacious, warm, clean and uncluttered. It is a short drive from the interstate and Downtown so you can quickly get anywhere. The neighborhood is quiet, a mixed bag of nice and older/unoccupied-looking houses. Property managers, Suzy and David, were very welcoming and helpful in showing how to open & close the automatic garage door from the inside of the garage. Check-in and check out process was easy. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Great Stay!

Nice quiet neighborhood but close to Downtown Birmingham and all it has to offer just a short drive away. Spacious and Comfortable home with everything you need to enjoy your stay and a garage to park your car off the street. Large front porch excellent for relaxing, having a meal or drinks when the weather is nice. Excellent!

Beautiful renovated home

Enjoyed our stay. The porch was one of a kind! Loved all the ceiling fans and the big open hallway. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay there again!

Great old house!

We enjoyed our stay at this home in Birmingham. The old house is very well maintained and updated while keeping the charm of the original. The front porch was great for early morning coffee! Very clean and well equipped. Comfy beds. It was nice to have the garage to park our car in and was a shame that the keypad outside the door didn’t work to open the garage door. Great stay overall, would rent again.
