DONT STAY HERE. Without question, the most disgusting property I’ve ever stepped foot in. Pet urine EVERYWHERE. Host called prior to arrival warning us that his housekeeper said the house “smelled like a barn” and he was going over with Lysol and to check it out. He called back a short time later and claimed he didn’t need Lysol and the place was clean. We walked in and the entire house smelled of cat urine so strong it made my eyes water. I called the host who refused to take my call. I also texted him and never responded. I called VRBO support and filed a claim to get my money back. Host refuses to call and remedy the situation. If I could leave negative stars I would. Do not bring your family to this biohazard place.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as pictured. The views were great. The house had everything we needed. Walton, the owner allowed us to have our Grandson's 1st Birthday party in the home. We had plenty of room for all our guest and family. It turned out great! We will definitely stay again.

We had a great time at this house. The home was clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited to our needs. We especially loved relaxing on the back deck and enjoying the view over the Cahaba river. The beds were comfy and the layout worked well for our family.Having a washer/dryer, a full kitchen, and other amenities in the house made it feel like a home away from home. It was a relaxing, cozy getaway. I recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet stay close to Birmingham.

This property was exactly as listed, the owner was so pleasant and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the open space in the kitchen and deck area for our family and friends to fellowship! We will definitely be renting this property again when we come back to Birmingham.

Pet friendly. No sidewalks or fence so enjoy this remodeled property but be aware. We drove our dog to nearby parks to walk.Next door neighbors' dogs must be kept in garage or in the yard at night. They woke me up several nights barking.We stayed 5 nights and felt the mattresses were not high quality as we woke up stiff most mornings. The Summit outdoor mall is very close and there is lots to do. Kitchen had everything we needed.The host prefers to talk you through how to get in and what isn't available at the property. A lot of information over a 15 minute call. It would be nice to also have it in writing. You need to bring your own toiletries (soap, shampoo...) and there is no blow dryer. THE VIEW IS AMAZING!

The house was absolutely wonderful, the pictures do not do it justice. Stunning views and nestled in a lovely neighborhood, close to lots of very nice restaurants and shopping. Tons to do within 20 minutes. The check in process could be greatly improved. Having to call and get verbal instructions that could easily be emailed or texted to you for much more ease for all parties would be a much better process. But that aside, our stay was absolutely lovely. Perfect for families.

An absolutely amazing stay in every way. You felt as if you were welcomed by a friend to experience their kind hospitality. We were in town for a family wedding and we were not familiar with this area and the location was perfect. The 10-mile view from the back of the house was such a bonus, as was the deer that dropped by in the afternoon to eat the deer corn our host suggested we bring. The linen was very nice, the beds were so comfortable, and everything you needed was thoughtfully at hand.
