"Upon arrival we learned the gym and pool were closed due to tv filming going on at the hotel, we should have been informed of that when booking. After checking in and unpacking, we had to be relocated to another room because of loud noises coming through the ceiling and walls (apparently a water pipe/pressure problem). "Positives: Amazing price for staying in downtown Toronto. The set up of the hotel is good with different areas for eating, studying, sleeping, etc. Negative: NOISE while you are going to sleep/sleeping. If saving money is your main priority then you just have to put up with the noise. If you want a good nights sleep then pay more and stay in another hotel. People are not trying to make noise but you can hear everyone unpacking, plastic bags being opened, people entering and exiting their pod,...

"My first time staying an a Canopy property and I was beyond impressed. Everything was so cozy and clean and aesthetically appealing. The neighborhood was safe and the train was a block away. Ideal location for those who don’t want to spend lots of money on uber or rental cars. The heated indoor pool was a plus for the winter days that I went. I felt super safe the entire time. "Wonderful staff at a well located property. Very friendly and accommodating. Room was nice and clean and well laid out. I did hear some street noise from the 14th floor so meet need the windows reinsulated. Love the fact that a buffet breakfast is now offered. "

"Excellent location, walking distance to lots of great shops and restaurants like Storm Crow Manor. I love the underground parking, felt very secure. The room was big but didn't feel super clean. We had fresh sheets on the bed, and fresh garbage bin, but there were random pompoms (?) around the room, and the bathroom walls are pretty stained. It's the best value for the location though! I ended up being charged more at check in, than I was quoted on my Expedia booking, which was a bummer. But...
