"Great check in, friendly and informative. Food is delicious, I made the mistake of ordering a starter as the main meals are large portions and great value for money. My advice would be to order a main and if you are still hungry go for a desert but I doubt you will need it. Would highly recommend"

"Warm welcome at reception. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean as was the bathroom. As it was Christmas, they left a box of Quality Street in the room for us. Nice touch. Buffet breakfast was good. Value for money."

"Check in was smooth and easy. Charlie was very pleasant and helpful. The room was prepared well and clean and tidy. Hotel facilities were good. Restaurant food was nicely prepared and presented and was very tasty.
The coffee machine (premier room) was a bit of a faff to use but when it was figured out, produced nice coffee.
One comment we read said there was a £10 parking charge. This was not the case and parking was free for travellers, but you must register the vehicle at reception."

"This was the first time we have stayed at Lords of the Manor and we really enjoyed it. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, everywhere was spotlessly clean. Lovely old building with huge charm, big open fireplaces and plenty of lounge areas to relax with a sneaky drink while you look over the dinner menu. we would definitely stay again. "

"My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Buckland Manor. The staff was so lovely, the room was always clean, and the food…unbelievable! The staff was also so kind of let us know about the history of the manor which was fascinating. We have told many friends and family about this place and we will definitely be back. "
