"This was our second visit to this property, and we enjoyed again the lovely home, back porch and especially the wonderful shaded pool. Several deer came to visit in the early evening hours, and the trees were full of a nice variety of birds. The kitchen is very well stocked; there is no air fryer, but that was the only notable omission (and not a serious one). Be sure to bring your own condiments and grilling rubs/spices, olive oil, etc. as there are only a few bottled herbs in addition to salt...

Grocery store and plenty of other food or entertainment options if you need to get things 15-30 drive. Beds were clean and comfortable. Covered patio was great for eating outdoors & playing games after dinner. Fenced yard with fire pit was nice area also. "This property is beautiful! It’s less than 15 minutes from Lago Vista, which has a grocery store and food places, and is about 10 minutes from a beautiful spot on Lake Travis. The property is quiet and beautiful, and the owner was very helpful and kind with check in and questions during our stay. One thing to be sure you are aware of is that there is no running water, and the bathroom is a port-a-potty. This was fine with us, but we didn’t see this detail before arriving. "Overall experience was nice. The atmosphere and location were great but I didn’t like the fact it was only one ac unit that was working properly. I understand TX heat, but it just took too long to cool off the cabin. Travis, the host however was amazing! Communicating with him was superb.
