"Overall, the experience was horrible. I booked for 2 nights but did not feel safe enough to stay for the 2nd and booked another hotel. Items that made this a very uncomfortable experience were the following. I arrived later in the evening (around 10pm) and as I went up the stairs to the room, there was a dumpster overflowing with trash. The smell was horrible considering the amount of spoiled dairy products that were left out. The trash remained the next day with 100-degree heat continuing...

"The grounds were gorgeous indeed! Home was very clean, but also outdated and missing amenities such as cable, Kleenex, etc. The master bedroom lets lots of light in at night, due to a skylight above the bed and no curtains. There are branches that scraped against the window all night long, which is not pleasant for light sleepers. With just some tweaks this place could be truly lovely as it has pretty flowers and gardens, is great for bird watching, and is very peaceful."

"A nice, peaceful getaway. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this is one of the most comfortable. The entire house is well maintained and well equipped. "This was one of the best places I have ever stayed. Everything was excellent. The location was very convenient and easy to get around town. Five star rating is not high enough for this beautiful home. During my stay I had some family to come over and visit and they could not believe how great this place was and how much room it has. Loved the layout and the decor. Plenty of room for everyone. Some of my family that lives local said they would even keep it in mind to rent it for future family...

The apartment is so cute, well acquainted and has everything you need from washer/dryer to fridge/dishwasher and pretty much any appliances and kitchenware you need. "HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The location is ideal: easy access to both Mass St & KU campus. The apartment is awesome: clean, comfortable, relaxing & interior is recently refinished so “new”. As a return guest, the additional changes/upgrades since our last visit were obvious and much appreciated. Fantastic communicator: Fernando immediately responded to all queries. Several families were visiting our daughter for KU graduation so we reserved 3 adjacent apartments from Fernando - it was absolutely lovely...

The door handle into the bedroom was soiled. I did take picture of it to show my wife. I forgot and left a charger cord for my hearing aids in the bedroom. I thought the 50 service plus shipping charge to return to me out of line (too expense). "
