Breakfast had lots of options and was good. The beds were big and comfortable but we had a major issue with housekeeping. On the second day, I had to chase reception so our room would be cleaned, and when they went, they didn't even empty the bins which were full to the top with dirty nappies. On the third day, I had to chase again. After loads of chasing, housekeeping came with towels and weren't even going to change the sheets, I had to ask for the sheets to be changed. On the fourth night, again our room was neglected and not done. I had to speak to guest experience and they said our room would be done at 11am but it wasn't and I had to complain once again. Housekeeping did our room at half past 12 after I complained. They were very apologetic and gave us cheese and a bottle of champagne and let us do free late check out but the champagne was left in the room because we had our 7 month old with us so we weren't going to drink. Besides that bad experience, we enjoyed the outdoor pool, which has a massive area to lay in the sun and the pools are quite big. Only disappointing factor is that they only open the pool at 9am. Would have been nice to be able to enjoy it earlier in the morning. For a 4star hotel I expected better. Management did have good intentions with their offerings but in the end it didn't really compensate for what we went through.
