Downtown Craftsman with King Bed and Private Yard - Walk Everywhere

  • Stay at one few of the remaining homes in the core of downtown Bend. Enjoy the natural light from vaulted ceilings, charming architectural details, original hardwood floors and paintings by local artist Sheila Dunn. Choose from dozens of restaurants, breweries, coffee and shops within blocks. Cross the alley to food trucks and occasional live music at the historic Lucas House or relax in your private walled courtyard. A beautifully restored 1922 home with plants and warm wood throughout.

    An inviting home with lovely light, attention to detail, character and the historic charm. that comes with carefully cared for homes of this vintage.

    The entire house is accessible to guests, with two exceptions: the garage and the loft.

    The laundry is in the closet, in the front room.

    We live right down the street and are happy to meet our guests, but more often than not, we let you enjoy your privacy for the entire trip.

    A mixed urban downtown setting with traditional historical homes converted to businesses. In the evening there is often live music or DJs just across the alley at the Bunk and Brew (most people love it!). Please be aware it can be noisy in the backyard or bedroom but should be wrapped up by 10pm. If it is noisy past 10pm please let us know immediately and we will respond to resolve it.

    The location is extremely walkable and also has easy access to/from the highway 97 (especially southbound).

    Live music can be heard from the historic Lucas House next door and can vary from acoustic guitar to rock and karaoke. The music should be wrapped up at 10 pm but often goes a bit late. Note that this is an urban setting and comes with urban sounds. It is also close to the highway.
    Please use the leather three-ring notebook for all kinds of helpful information.

    NO PARTIES. Noise monitoring devices and exterior cameras on all entrances are in place.

    All guests must be included in the reservation. Any unauthorized additional guests will be charged a $100 fee, per additional guest, per night. A guest is considered anyone who enters the property for more than 1 hour.

    Pets not included in the reservation will incur a $200 charge.

We had a 3 night stay at Ryan's charming home. The craftsmans bungalow was so well appointed with every amenity you need for a perfect stay. It has a very private and spacious yard but is walkable to downtown. Amazing place. Was the best short-term rental we have ever stayed at. And we have stayed in msny...and owned a few.

Great location! Easy walk to downtown and the river, many great food locations close by as well. The place was very clean and with a nice patio out back to relax. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much! Would stay again. Thank you!

This Sears & Roebuck Kit House was a real treat! Updated, cute, cozy and comfortable! Since it was our first trip to Bend, the folder for everything about Bend and surrounding areas was perfect and so helpful. Walking distance to everything, a plus! We enjoyed our 3 day stay!

Beautiful home in a fantastic location for exploring downtown Bend. Excellent communication about our stay and no issues at all. This home is adorable, larger than it looks online and nicely appointed.

Property was very nice. Great location to downtown, Drake Park and the mill district. You can easily walk to all these locations. Great back yard to sit and visit. The listing does talk about the noise of Beer and Bunk business across the alley making noise but doesn't mention the freeway right next to the property. The beer and bunk music stopped at 10 pm but the traffic noise was all night. If you are use-to traffic noise while you sleep, then perfect place.

We loved the house and the location. We didn't spend much time in the house outside of sleeping and coffee, but it fit our needs perfectly, and we loved being able to walk everywhere.

Great Place!

We loved out stay at the property. The Owner's communication was fantastic, parking was easy, the decor was great, comfy bed and an easy walk to downtown. I would say, don't hesitate and book this place, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

These super cool and caring hosts have an outstanding consideration for guests, absolutely everything has been thought of and provided. The house is quality and the location is perfect for quick and pleasant walks to all the shops and restaurants. I was thrilled to find it surprisingly quiet (December), absolute gold for me as a noise-sensitive person who loves living in urban areas. 10/10 will book again!

Perfect for our stay!

This house was perfect for a trip for any couple. I liked the private backyard, the open space inside the house, and the bed was very comfortable. We were close to everything and was able to walk everywhere. The owners/host were very communicative and welcoming.

This is a beautiful house and it was spotless! Nice stay in Bend

Cute house, very nice landscaping and backyard area. Plenty of room for 2 people, fully stocked kitchen and very comfortable accommodations. This property is easily walkable to the downtown Bend area. Host communicate with us well and was very helpful

Beautifully Updated Cottage

Really cool cottage in really cool old town Bend. Walk to breakfast, dinner or cocktails. Close in but quiet. Loved my all too brief stay. I’ll check for its availability next time for sure!

Amazing Stay in the Heart of Bend!

We had a fantastic time staying at this beautiful little house in Bend, Oregon. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the center of town and within walking distance of great restaurants, shops, and everything we needed. Free parking was a huge bonus!The house itself was super clean and cozy, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. We also really appreciated the fresh coffee provided—it was delicious and a great start to our mornings. Having a washer and dryer on-site was very convenient as well.Overall, this place had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We truly loved it and would absolutely come back!
