"Hotel views were stunning and staff was very friendly. They were doing some construction while we were there hence the one point off but the hotel and grounds were clean and modern. The outdoor pool had a fantastic view but too cold for when we visited in March so our kids played in the indoor pool instead. It would have been nice if the indoor pool had similar views - there was a glass window but facing the grassy interior instead of the ocean. But other than that, we loved our stay."

"Peaceful location close to the marina and beach. The staff were friendly & professional. Our room was spacious, had a wonderful view with large relaxing balcony, comfortable bed & pillows and good storage space (Room 359). There was plenty of choice at breakfast. We ate at the pool bar a few times, our favourites were the club sandwich & the pulled pork tacos. Would definitely return to stay at this hotel."

"The breakfast buffet was excellent and served in a large room. Our room was clean, balcony nice size. Outdoor Pool (not heated) was nice with ample loungers. Most staff attentive and helpful. We would like to single out two staff members (Gisela and Romulo) who provided outstanding service. Thank you. "

"Staff was very attentive. There was a good bit of construction being done around the hotel that took away a bit from the atmosphere, but the room was quite large. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. The location was pretty good except for the construction. It's a bit of a walk from the "main drag" on the other side of the marina, but not horrible. Note that this is a more modern hotel and does not give the older Portuguese vibe. Still, it was a good stay. The free parking was...

"Very charming little hotel! The grounds are well kept and is very clean. Breakfast has a lot of selection and is very good. Close to old town and beaches( 10 min) the room was smaller and a bit dated, bed was comfortable and aircon worked great. Overall a great place to stay!"

"Breakfast was a varied buffet, catering for all tastes. Great amenities, clean and spotless. Room service by Marida was flawless! Front of house staff were great.
