"The facility was nice, and well kept. The phone (concierge staff) was promptly responsive and knowledgeable. They assisted us navigate the smart TV (which was uber complex). They helped get us housekeeping, one day (which isn't a daily thing there) but when we needed it, fresh towels and bed sheets, they promptly respond; the Zen staff was friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this place for all who would be in the neighborhood."

"Very convenient location and surprisingly quiet [at least in our room], considering the proximity to the freeway and the abundance of young children present on the property. Our room was pleasant and our request for third floor room with beamed ceiling was accommodated. The sliding door on our balcony would not latch, but we felt safe enough with the chain lock engaged.

"Well the whole vibes of the Inn was great. I loved the blue aesthetic and the beds were comfortable. What I didn’t really like was the bathroom door being because it was kinda open in a way. Another thing was how the floor was really dirty. I feel they should provide sandals and slippers or at least let the guests know that the floors aren’t clean before their stay. "Mystery stains on bed sheets and towels. Super cute retro decor. Small rooms. Even smaller shower. Speaking of the shower, whenever it was being used it had a strong egg smell. The person I was staying with said it could be sulfur… so there’s that. Extremely close to the beach! Short drive to Santa Barbara Bowl. Really good food options near by. "I booked five rooms at the Avania Inn of Santa Barbara for my family for my graduation, and the experience was terrible. One of the rooms I booked showed multiple beds online three beds and I paid $540 for one night. But when I arrived, they gave me two queen beds and a sofa bed instead.
