"I hate to write negative things, this inn has many things going for it. The mattress in room 6, however, badly needs to be replaced. You sink in about six inches when you sit and the springs squeak and groan every time you move. There is only one accessible grounded outlet by the door. Other outlets are concealed behind furniture. Ungrounded extension cords are provided. The market next door which presumably provides a free breakfast wasn't open for the season yet. Other than that, the room was...

"Very easy parking, clean rooms, and friendly staff. It's just outside town and an easy ~10 min walk to main st with coffee shops, etc. Rooms are slightly dated but well maintained and comfortable. Everything we needed for our hiking trip to Acadia."

"The Main Street Motel was a great, afforable place to stay. Check in with the front desk was easy. Staff was very helpful and welcoming! The complimentary, all-day snacks and coffee came in handy; I had so many cups of blueberry coffee! The room was clean, comfortable, and has what you need. You can walk to anything in downtown bar harbor, and we did. The only time we got in the car was for Acadia, which was only a short drive away! Do not miss the sunrise on Cadillac!"

Due to front door below our room, was slammed many times and during sleeping hours. We love the close proximity of the conviences, everything was in walking distance! We would stay here again! Went to front to ask about it and grab “coffee”. Honestly, coffee was similar to motor oil. A keurig would have been a better choice for the lobby. Maintenance came while we were at breakfast. I followed up and was told that I turned off breaker, which I didn’t do. Girl was polite when I asked for a refund for the 2nd...
