"Surrounding woods and area definitely exceeded my expectations. A truly amazing clean green almost untouched area with clear waters and piney forests. Cabin was very comfortable and came with boats lights and everything we needed to have a great time out there. One of the best off the grid experiences I’ve had. Thanks again!"

"It was a treat to have a lovely, swimmable lake just steps from the house. The kitchen is well-equipped, beds are comfortable, and we took advantage of the outdoor eating area nearly every meal. "

"This cabin was exactly what we were hoping for. The property was a quick 30 minute drive to Acadia. The nights were cool but the space heaters kept us perfectly warm. The bathhouse was directly outside the camp and had another heater. There were thoughtful touches everywhere, from the glass container with potable water next to the bathroom sink, to the extra blankets to help with the changing season, to the kayaks readily available for our use. This is most definitely a place we would rent again...

"This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again."

"We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful location, nice kitchen, even a really good place for dogs. We had everything to be comfortable. At nights the sky was breathtaking. The only problem was the mattresses. They kept creaking. Backyard was amazing! We had a such a relaxing time."

"My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

"We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Tunk lake is beautiful and very secluded. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed for a family of 4. Highly recommend hiking Black mountain for amazing views of the lake and Acadia. "

"Lisa was so awesome. Very friendly and fast responses to questions. They have a big garden in the back that we could use some pickings from. The actual space is very cozy and sweet. Close enough to everything we needed/wanted. I was stay again in a heart beat. "

"This house is amazing! It is the perfect oasis after a day exploring Maine. The layout of the house was perfect and gave everyone quiet peaceful rest areas and large gathering spaces for us to be together. The setting of the house is peaceful and the view of the lake is beautiful. The house is well equipped and really felt more like home than a vacation rental. Of course our family favorite was the screen in porch area. The host was easy to work with and check in and check out was a breeze. 5...

"It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well."

Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors).
