"Train station across the road wasn't ideal, we were in a back room so the highway traffic was okay. TV didn't work but was changed out for us quickly."

"The bathroom door did not close, the electric blanket was burnt out at the switch, the heating on 30 only took the chill off the room. The freezer completely frozen. One light in the bathroom was not working and the other making a shorting out sound. When I went to talk about this the office was closed at 10.00am on a Monday. Very disappointed. We have stayed here before and it was fantastic. Obviously new owners."

It was made even more pleasant by receiving an unexpected upgrade to which we were very grateful and appreciated. "Very disappointing experience from the moment we arrived. The woman at reception greeted us by yelling at us and speaking in an offensive and disrespectful manner. We arrived as a group of four, and although I had advised that only two of us would be arriving initially, I had booked and paid for a two-bedroom cabin. Despite this, I was made to pay extra, which I felt was unfair. What made it even more frustrating was seeing other cabins with multiple guests, yet no one else seemed to be...

"Very spacious room, with king size bed. Well set up kitchenette. Liked that it had a large spa bath, but hard to get in and out of, and very slippery when wet. Surprisingly, no shampoo or conditioner was provided. Bathroom quite dated, and could do with a refresh. Overall, it was suitable for our needs and close to where we needed to go for the weekend. Would stay here again."
