Beautiful, family friendly Lake home w/sunroom and 100ft of sandy beach!

A perfect place where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy all there is to offer when it comes to lake life! Check-in is at 4pm CST, Check-out is at 10am CST.

We are located on the north side of the lake which allows you to enjoy both sunrise and sunset, and they are absolutely gorgeous over West Battle Lake!

Our home has a fireplace (only to be used in fall and winter months), central air and heat for your comfort.
We have a fully equipped kitchen making it easy to cook a large meal, bake treats, or simply make a PB & J. For your convenience, we also provide an extra full size refrigerator for all of those extra beverages and snacks you may want to have while enjoying your time at our home.

Our sunroom, which is a comfortable temperature from April to early October, beckons you to relax with your favorite beverage, book, and cozy blanket as you listen to the sounds of nature all around.

Our deck is only 30ft from the sandy beach and crystal-clear water. The sandy bottom,100ft shoreline is perfect for small children as we have shallow water with no sharp drop offs.

The Lake is known for both water sports and fishing alike. It truly is a lake for everyone! We have reeds about 25 yards to the east of our beach, which means you don't have to go far to entertain those kids who love to fish! There are also plenty of areas on the lake for the grown-ups to find a honey hole as well. You are able to use our boat lift and dock, but you must provide your own boat . There is a public boat access just 1.5 miles from our home and several places in the area to rent a boat or pontoon during your stay.

We provide 3 adult kayaks, one youth kayak, a paddle boat, paddle board, lily pad and lots of sand toys. For an additional fee, we can provide life-jackets, but we do not provide any type of floats or tubes during your stay. We do provide an air-pump.

After a fun filled day, you can relax and enjoy some spirits while making supper on our gas grill. Later, you can enjoy family time and recap the memories of your day around our fire pit, and don't forget to check out our night sky which is perfect for star gazing!

When you finally retreat for the evening, you will sleep well with our blackout curtains and plush, comfortable mattresses.

If there happens to be a day or two during your stay that you cannot be on the water, no worries, we have you covered! We offer WIFI, books, DVD's, smart TV's, board games, puzzles, cards and more! There are also quite a few shops and restaurants to explore in Battle Lake and the surrounding areas! We also provide several family friendly yard games with plenty of space on the property to enjoy them.

Our property is located on a dead end road which means very little traffic. We have a double jogger stroller and an umbrella stroller for you to take the kids on a nature walk! We have many different types of wildlife in our area such as, deer, turtles, wood peckers, all types of water fowl and even a few eagles, to name a few! We've even seen the deer right on our beach in the early morning hours!

We provide all bed linens, bath and kitchen towels. We DO NOT provide beach towels and do not allow any of our bath towels on the beach. We will provide all dish soap, dishwasher, laundry, and hand soaps.

We absolutely love our lake home and know that if you choose to stay here, you will too!

Fun Family Vacation

We had a fabulous time during our stay! The property was beautiful, the house so clean and had every amenity you could think of. My daughter that has a toddler was especially grateful for the baby gates, high chair, toys and books. We kayaked, fished, and played in the water from sunrise to sunset. The property owners were very easy to contact and went out of their way to ensure our vacation was stress free and loaded with fun!

Great place

Top-notch Location!

We are a group of eight fisherman who travel to West Battle every year and this property was by far the best we’ve stayed in over the past seven years! The property had all advertised accommodations and was clean, was close to boat launch/ town, and the hosts were excellent communicators. A+ property!!!

Great space for large family get together

The cabin was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a fun week at the lake. Beautiful sandy beach, though it was a bit steep. 4 very nice kayaks and a paddle board that we used often during the week. Only drawback was the swimmers itch in the lake but with using sunscreen (reapplying often) and rinsing off right after coming out of the lake it was kept at bay. Everyone enjoyed the week at the lake.

Fabulous and Heartwarming

We can’t imagine a place any better for our large brood of grandchildren and their parents - and the hosts felt like family too! Best part was the 100 feet of sandy lakeshore and shallow waters which was soooooo awesome for all of us but especially the little ones! The cabin had so many beds and everything we needed, and all was so clean and well kept! We will be back!

Perfect vacation!

We loved our stay at this cabin. The host responded promptly with any questions that we had. The cabin was perfect for us! The beach was beautiful! The cabin was very clean, and it had everything that we needed! Loved that it had a large driveway for us to be able to park all of our vehicles and boat.

Beautiful house

This is a great place to stay with a larger group. Plenty of space. Owners were easily accessible if we had an issues (we didn’t but they were easy to reach). Definitely coming back next time we are in the area.

Perfect Cabin Weekend

We stayed here with a couple other families and it was wonderful! The large beach area and clear water were great for the kids. It was so nice that each family had their own space and own bathroom in the cabin. Kelley was so easy to communicate with and took the time to answer all of our questions. We will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful family memories made!

Nice and clean inside and out. It had a very well furnished kitchen. Loved the extra fridge in lower level especially with a large family. Lots of toys/games for every age. Books and movies for a rainy day, and a nice sunroom to enjoy. Outdoors was just as clean and supplied with outdoor games (including kayaks, paddle boat, paddle board and sand toys), nice deck, fire pit area and dock with a boat lift. Nice sandy beach with clear water to enjoy! Hosts were the best! They are very hospitable and want you to have a great vacation!

Beautiful Shoreline

This was a very special family get together as my husband was recently diagnosed with a terminal brain cancer. We do this every year as a gift to our kids and grandkids and this was Papa Jerry’s last year. After 2 surgeries he has difficulty moving around but the pontoon we rented made it possible for him to do some fishing which he enjoys. (Caught several pan fish.) It was also good to have everything he needed on one level. The master bath was too small to accommodate his walker but the 1/2 bath next to it worked perfectly. The other baths were great sized. The house was nicely decorated, very clean and well organized for renters. The sandy, shallow beach and shoreline was great for the kids. Our only disappointment was that we were not well prepared to prevent the kids from the lake itch. They all wore sunscreen and showered off after but we should have covered them with Vaseline also. Connected well with Kelley prior to our trip but wasn’t able to connect by text while there. Not sure if it was poor phone reception or what but not a serious issue. Needless to say, it was a special trip we will always remember fondly. :)

Family Getaway

This property has it all! From the sandy beach, beach toys for the kids, kayaks, paddle boat, and great fishing. We had a fish fry from fish that was caught right in front of the property. It was great having 4 bathrooms, a kitchen that was fully stocked with really nice pots, pans, dishes, etc. Very clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend this property. Our family had a great time.

Cozy home!

The home was a great place for our fall retreat. The weather was cold and windy all weekend, but it was nice and warm inside. It had more than enough beds and baths for 10 grown men. We would've preferred a larger dining table to be able to all sit together, but we made do with the separate spaces. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions.

Fishing with friends

Absolutely amazing place for living the lake life! Beautiful beach and southern exposure made for gorgeous sunrises and sunsets with the sun shining all day made it warm with temps in the 50s. Plenty of room for our group of 10 to sleep, hang out cook and eat. The 4 bathroom made it easy for everyone to shower and get on the water. Huge deck looks over the water with the grill, so we spent lots of time on it! I couldn’t recommend this place enough! I’ll be booking more time there without question!! My whole group just loved our time there, and can’t wait to get back!
