"My family stayed at Jacomb's Cottage (me, my husband, two teenage daughters and my parents-in-law from overseas). It is such a cute, comfortable and historical cottage! We had a lovely time. The cottage is a short walking distance to almost everything in town. We loved all the history in Walhalla, the walks in the hillside nearby, the gold mine and we even did a ghost tour! "Great place for a family vacation! We loved swimming, playing on the playground equipment and exploring local pubs and cafes. The cottage was very spacious and there was lots of room inside and out for our child to play. The hosts were really lovely and helpful and made us feel very welcome."

"A perfect spot to get away from the busy Melbourne everyday grind. Friendly, loveable doggies greeted us for a play after we were welcomed by geese and chooks. The modern cottage was so very peaceful, clean, comfortable and the walk down to the river was lovely! Gorgeous location to use as a base with mod cons to come home to. Thank you so much to the hosts for a super clean, comfortable and gorgeous location. We wish we could’ve stayed longer "

"We loved having our dog with us on this weekend away, and being able to go on walks through beautiful forest metres away from the cabin. The boys enjoyed the tennis court and the kitchen had everything we needed. Couldn't find a fault - hope to return"

"After the initial problem getting in to the property we found it a very neat tidy cottage with a nicely appointed kitchen. All areas have been renovated, comfy bed in front bedroom. Things that would improve this property : .Definitely front door needs attention .Flyscreen Security doors front & back to enable air flow. .TV remote in bedroom didnt work(not a major thing) .Unable to hook up DVD to TV(this more likely my lack of technical ability & also not big deal) .Can opener would be handy "
