"Beds we very comfortable. Good quality sheets and duvet, perfectly pressed. We had two rooms. One with a balcony overlooking the river. Well worth the extra cost for before and after dinner river watching and early morning. The second room was labelled cosy double but had plenty of room. Staff very friendly and good menus. I really like that atmosphere. It’s relaxed and classy at the same time. "

"The hotel is perfectly located for both the Theatre Royal and Ustinov Theatre as you can walk to either in about thirty seconds! There are also numerous bars, coffee shops and restaurants in the immediate area. Despite being centrally located, I didn't hear any noise from outside at all. My room was quite compact but very comfortable, the shower was great as was the bed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. "Amazing location as really central & walkable to everywhere in Bath. Really modern and light inside the hotel, and lovely breakfast area. Really nice vibe & we loved it, including my teens who said it’s the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in within the UK! "

"Fuldstændig vidunderligt og stemningsfyldt ophold med den mest charmerende og imødekommende vært. Meget smukt og stemningsfyldt indrettet, vidunderlig spisestue, hvor den blide jazz sætter stemningen i den smukke stue og den skønne morgenmad , alt sammen krydret med sjove og charmerende anekdoter fra værtens liv. "The hotel staff was extremely hospitable. The breakfast that was bought with the room was simply fantastic (in most hotel it is an overprice affair; here it was excellent, varied and plentiful). The restaurant staff was also extremely helpful and equally hospitable. The rooms were interestingly decorated and comfortable but also different from the typical bland hotel rooms. The hotel offers many uniquely attractive features that we enjoyed it very much. Overall a great and fun experience. "

"Loved our stay here. It’s a hotel with a bit of character and personality which is a nice change from some of the bland chain hotels. V comfortable and quiet rooms, friendly staff and a really delicious and well priced breakfast. "

"The employees at this Hotel were amazingly helpful, friendly, courteous and pleasant. Loved our stay here - my only little quibble I had was that the room I booked was on the small side. We just missed having a wardrobe."

"Charming and cosy rooms with a large clean and modern bathroom. The highlight was undoubtedly the breakfast and the extremely friendly staff. We were stuffed by the end and had to decline the offer of seconds - delicious and tempting as the full English was."
