"This is a very nicely remodeled hotel near the Riverfront area. They have bikes to rent for free and a shuttle that you can take to and from the Riverfront area. The bar inside the hotel is very nice with some well thoughtout cocktail choices. We would stay here again if we are ever back in Savannah. "

"The Alida is a beautiful hotel. The staff were excellent and friendly. You couldn't ask for a better location with easy access to River Street. The little touches made the experience more memorable. For one example, there seemed to be a scent theme from the time you walk into the lobby to the toiletries in the bathroom. The rooftop bar had amazing views of downtown Savannah. "The room is in need of an upgrade. I didn't like paying $30/day to park my car on the street for handicap parking. It was literally a public road in front of the hotel. The street parking should've been free not vallet. "

"We had a hard time checking in. The code they gave us did not work. We contacted them and they gave us a different code….that also didn’t work. The cleaning staff was there and saw that we were having trouble, so they helped us contact the property manager, which was very nice of them as they didn’t have to. "Having stayed at the Cambria in Asheville, NC which was excellent. I had high hopes for the Savannah location. It didn’t deliver. Asheville was clean, well-staffed, and felt like a premium stay from start to finish. Savannah felt like a completely different brand"

"This hotel is in a great spot right next to the river in historic Savannah which I’m assuming is what justifies the price of the rooms, which are seriously average. Walking in to the room, it has the feel of a very cheap hotel with harsh spotlights and cheap tiles. The bathrooms need upgrading desperately and the room felt dark and cramped.
