"Fantastic accommodation within a short drive of Gloucester. Set on the banks of the river you feel like you are miles from anywhere. Cottage is well appointed and a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay. Would highly recommend this property "

"If you want a place that offers solitude, heavenly peace and great relaxation in harmony with nature, don't look any further. This is the ultimate place to relax, meditate and enjoy nature at its best. There are some wonderful walks nearby, however a word of caution, don't try to drive unless you have an AWD or 4WD as the roads are gravelly and full of ruts."

"The cabin is in the heart of the forest, with walks in the wonderful national park at your doorstep. The wildlife was amazing with lyrebirds, bandicoots, king parrots, satin bowerbirds and more sighted on our short two night stay. The kitchen is well equipped for a decent stay with a lovely newly renovated bathroom and every bed had an electric blanket with warm and cozy bedding. Very enjoyable stay."

"The entire stay was great. Myself, my 23 yr old son and 13 yr old daughter laughed and created some incredible memories. The wildlife was spectacular, the scenery magnificent. The cabin came with all the needed equipment and an assortment of dvds."

We loved the short walks with our 4yo to the river for a swim, or morning visitors on the deck and the relaxing ambience of the environment. "We absolutely loved our stay at this friendly and beautiful farmstay near Gloucester! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed,no strict rules, just freedom to enjoy the space, which made it feel like a true home away from home.The accommodation was incredibly comfortable and cosy. "Sure! Here's a shorter version of the review:---A Secret Place to Slow Down lives up to its name, quiet, cozy, and beautifully set in nature. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly relaxing. Close enough to Gloucester’s attractions but tucked away enough to truly unplug. The hosts were kind and attentive. A true hidden gem, we can’t wait to return!"

"Property was impeccably clean and fresh. Jana’s communication was forthcoming and friendly. The cabin is in a wonderful location, with world-class rainforest on your doorstep. We will book to stay again this time next year. "

"It was great being so close to the little stream that runs past tiny house. We were fortunate to be there during quite a rainy period and the stream turned into a gushing river which was music to my ears while falling asleep with the door open. The cabin is cute and very tidy with thoughtful local insights and books and games to keep us occupied. "

"Another relaxing stay in this spacious house in a picturesque and peaceful setting. Plenty of room for our party of 7 or more. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy the serenity. Fire pit perfect to sit out under the stars. Easy access to walks and not far from township of Gloucester. Rose’s extra touches of linen, wine and chocolates an added bonus. Looking forward to our next visit."

"This is the second time we've stayed at this property and it is simply amazing! Located in the rural town of Barrington it is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting. With three bedrooms, two toilets and a large open plan living / kitchen area the house is ample for a family or two or three couples. The house is equipped with the basics like oils, sauces, dishwashing tablets as well as books, DVD's and games. With a crystal clear pool and over an acre of mowed lawn it's the perfect getaway only...
