"I'd been waiting 50 years to stay here! A fabulous little "tourist" motel complex literally across the street from the Soo Locks. As a child on vacation, my parents would drive by this modest venue on our way into Ontario to fish and etc. Our destination was never the Soo proper ... But it was mine, last week! Yes, the walls are thin and the venue itself is "retro" all the way, but the people are friendly and, honestly, compared to the two Wyndham properties I stayed stayed at on the same trip...

"I was impressed at the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff in every part of the hotel. Even though there are major renovations going on, they make their best effort to accommodate people as they arrive. "

"We had breakfast at the Best Western which was the lodging adjacent to our motel. The breakfast was terrific and the people at the desk were very helpful suggesting places for us to visit."
