"We stayed for two nights to celebrate my 60th birthday. The hotel has such character and is on a beautiful island with amazing views in every direction. We particularly enjoyed a swim in the mermaid pool and dinner in the Pilchard Inn. The highlight was dressing for dinner and dining in the grand ballroom on my birthday. "Although we didn't get to meet our hostess, the owner/host and his staff were fantastic. The pub was cosy and clean and extremely reasonably priced and the service was amazing. Very pleasant and friendly people who genuinely cared about making our stay pleasurable. Absolutely recommend and should we find ourselves down that way again, we will most certainly stay here. Thank you. "

"This hotel is wonderful. Rooms are beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Comfortable bed and plenty of space. We had an evening meal which was probably the best meal ever!! Breakfast was equally good. Abby who served us was a gem. Nothing but praise. Would recommend and stay again. "

"The property was clearly undergoing a transformation and only partly ready for the public. However the bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the breakfast was very good. Some nice touches make the stay a step above the ordinary. "

"Gara Rock ist ein echter Kraftort – direkt an der Küste gelegen, absolut ruhig und abgeschieden mit einem atemberaubenden Blick. Die Lage ist spektakulär, perfekt zum Abschalten und Auftanken. Das gesamte Team war äußerst freundlich und hochmotiviert – der Service ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders begeistert hat mich die entspannte Massage – einfach himmlisch. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, sehr sauber und mit seinen hohen Decken wunderbar großzügig. Ein Ort, an den man definitiv zurückkehren...

"Stunning country castle style hotel. Rooms finished to a very high standard. Staff were wonderfully attentive, seemed genuinely pleased to help and proud of their establishment.
