"Arrived late at night and had trouble finding a car park space. Access around the building is one way but to exit you have to go through a locked gate and you need a code - as a guest who has just arrived you don't have this info. I called the hotel 3 times whilst stuck at the gate and no one answered. Luckily a guest walked past and gave me the code. Went around again but this time went in the multistorey up a level. Be warned this car park is VERY TIGHT and not all cars are parked well. When...

"Hotel needs an update. Staff were nice enough and all the bits you need were there but the customer experience was lacking. Our room was lovely, if cold. The radiators only work part of the time. The characterful bathroom did not have a big enough radiator - no lingering in the bath with just a tidgy towel rail to heat you ( a tall ceiling and giant window.) There was very little phone signal (not their fault of course), but the wifi was atrocious, barely there and dropping out regularly -...

"The staff were attentive and helpful. The restaurant manager was particularly engaging and was largely on her own on Sunday night but managed the restaurant with aplomb. The housekeeping staff were careful to report back quickly that I hadn’t left rings in the bedroom as suspected. I have since found them in the glove compartment of the car."

"This is a new first rate hotel, close to the opera house Manchester. Upon arrival a warm welcome by staff. We were upgraded to a suite which was absolutely amazing. We have stayed in great rooms over the years but this had everything including bath in the bedroom, walk in wardrobe with Peleton well stocked bar. We ate Dinner at the hotel and had done previously. "Friendly staff, clean, comfortable beds, breakfast was good. Nice central areas and amenities. Great location. All round would recommend if you are looking for a 'does what it says on the tin' and a bit more stay"
