"Amazing stay at St Hildas Complex..Beautiful accommodation in a area surrounded by walks to the sea..Fab food and the nicest staff you could ever wish to meet. Not forgetting Dora the adorableCockerpoo...If your thinking of holidaying near Staithes/runswick Bay / Sandsend /Whitby this is the place you need to say....oh and the lemon muffins at breakfast are to die for..The bus stop is 30 seconds away were it costs £3 to go anywhere .."

"Beautiful garden and room. The room was a good size with a large, comfy bed, great shower and fresh milk for tea and coffee. We ate dinner there, having established that there were options for a vegetarian who was also coeliac. I had a vegan but not GF wellington, which was lovely. Breakfast was also excellent, with a coeliac-friendly omelette with GF toast. It was all delicious, so thank you Ellerby Inn! The website said EV charging was available. We enquired at check-in and they said we...

"Staithes is a beautiful village, although we were certainly lucky with the weather. The Inn was a great place to stay, with a tucked away car park at the rear. Nice big room and good bathroom. Great breakfast including kippers as an option. It is short walk down into the village where there are other eating and drinking options too and lovely walks and views. Steep back up though!"

"Right in the centre of the village, perfect for finding pubs, places to eat etc. Room was fantastic. Really quite big. Also, spotless. Good check in, Cameron couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast is also really good."

"Wir haben uns direkt willkommen und rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, das Zimmer tadellos sauber und gut ausgestattet und das Bett sehr bequem. Zudem haben wir ausgezeichnetes Frühstück genossen. Die Lage ist innerhalb der Ortschaft bestens. Eine 100%ige Empfehlung von uns! "

"A lovely little family run hotel. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, from arrival to check out, nothing was too much trouble. We thought this was the cleanest hotel we have stayed in. Parking was easy and convenient - we just left the car there as it was easy enough to walk down to the harbour. The restaurant was amazing and fantastic value for money, everything freshly cooked and prepared, so it was no trouble to ask for a dish to be customised to taste. We would highly recommend this...

"I was informed about being on the 4th floor in advance of my stay, which was not a problem. However, the stairway is steep and has many doors to pass through. The room itself is compromised for height by being in the eaves but not a problem for a solo traveller. Would be a different review if I had been offered this"luxury" double room as a couple"

"Beds were comfortable but we were on the 4th floor (atic) so i was knackered by the time I got up there as there is no lift plus the wifi didn't work in that room (room 15). All in all, the room servered the purpose and is in a good location next to the main shops and sight seeing."
