"Our accomodation was spacious clean and very comfortable. We had a patio setting outside with a view to the river so we could watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Highly recommend "

"I booked this house in the first week of school holidays for my children and their families to stay. A big family holiday. House is brilliant and provided an amazing entertaining areas that work well for large groups. Craig the groundsman is very helpful and met us when we arrived, gave a tour of the house, telling us how things worked etc. He also came back to help when phoned, topped up the wood for indoor fire when it turned cold and other little things that made the whole experience...

"Kingscote has the basic essentials (Eg supermarket, bakery, petrol, restaurants), and is great base for exploring the island. Char’s place is very clean, comfortable, spacious, on a very large block. Very quiet. The hosts are great advisers of what to do / not to do etc. Lovely. "

"Our room was really comfortable and very homely but tastefully decorated at the same time. Good bed and good cooking facilities. The kitchen was well stocked. We had beautiful gum trees with koalas right near our door. American River is a great location as its half way between Penneshaw and Kingscote. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Comfortable, unique and well designed accommodations in a gorgeous physical setting. We walked the large property and encountered beautiful wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies and koalas. Yael provided excellent, thorough guidance prior to our stay and Lina met us on site to provide further assistance with warmth and thoughtfulness. The retreat is near Flinders Chase National Park and a number of animal sanctuaries, all well worth a visit. We loved our visit to Ecopia Retreat! "

"The Sea Loft was the perfect place to stay on Kangaroo Island. It’s close enough to Kingscote but also far enough away to feel secluded. We were visited daily by the local wild life, including kangaroos, wallabies and even an echidna! The property had great facilities including a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ. Located centrally enough to everything on the island it provided a great base camp to see all KI has to offer. "

Yes one is in the centre so to speak and could visit one day to the left and next to right.KI has amazing places to see. All in all we had a great time. Thank you."

"We had a lovely stay here last week. The house is on a beautiful property, not too far from Penneshaw to get supplies. We loved watching the kangaroos outside in the mornings and evenings. We even saw a baby Joey in its Mum’s pouch. The house was clean and was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were super cosy and plush. "
