"The rooms were lovely and quiet. My stay coincided with a special event so, disappointingly, the bar and restaurant were not available to me. Although staff certainly seemed eager to help, they gave conflicting information (ie 'they will open at 3', then at 3 a different staff person 'they are not opening tonight')"

"We just stayed 2 nights over a busy weekend. The place was on an easy reach to Due Drop event center, very clean, with lovely bedding and comfy big bed, new bathroom and heaps of hot water. There is also a kitchenette that we did not use but it is in the area with not too many near by eateries - so get organized for food in time!"

"The balcony is really nice.
The toilet door doesn’t shut.
Make my room light go off as I pull the card out, so room cleaning was not done.
Despite telling the staff and at the reception verbally, the making the room was not done for 2 days during my stay."

"The bed was comfortable, and we had a reasonable as we had just a overnight stay. However, the hotel is looking quite tired and run down and could really do with some TLC and updating. With a little more attention to maintenance and presentation, it could be a much nicer place to stay."

"Super handy to Due Drop Events Centre and short bus trip to Manakau station where you can transfer to plenty of bus options and the east west train line.
The location is the main upside, good for somewhere to lay your head at the end of the day, in our case we found at that point there was no hand towel in bathroom, small towels, drain cover broken off (and has been for a while by the looks of it) and no remote for the TV."
