"The beach house well exceeded our expectations and provided a wonderful retreat for celebrating my wife's birthday. The southern location was private and quiet, but close enough to businesses to provide anything that we needed. Our hosts were very responsive and accommodated our request to extend our stay to take advantage of the superb weather. Overall, this property was one of the best rentals that we have experienced in any location. We plan to return again!"

"We had a wonderful 24 hours. We were evacuated Sunday evening at 6:00 due to hurricane Erin. We have stayed here many years and this is the first that this has happened. This house has all the amenities and is a very easy walk to the beach. Wish we would hav3 had better weather to stay all week "

"We had a great week! Very quiet & peaceful location on the sound all while being very close to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Plenty of room for extended family to have their own space, all while having great common areas to spend time together. The book and game library in the living room provide plenty of things to do inside if the weather isn't great, or if you just need to get out of the sun. Owner was very attentive and helpful and provided all the information we needed to get...

"This house is the perfect place for a week in OBX! Extended family came together and had plenty of room to spread out to have our own space, and more than enough room in the main living and dining areas also! The kitchen is well stocked for cooking for a large crowd, beds are very comfortable, and the elevator is perfect, especially for getting luggage in and out. The view of the beach was wonderful! Our whole family greatly enjoyed our week here!"

"Booked last minute for a Fall getaway. The Condo was great and extremely clean and comfortable. The view from the Balcony was beautiful and so great to be close to grocery store. Avon is our favorite area of the Southern Outer Banks. Mike was very communicative due to weather conditions the beginning of the week which could have affected our stay but luckily didn’t."
