"Wonderful stay for me and my family. Litterally the only thing i would say is the bathrooms might need some updating and maybe a few cosmetic updates. But litterally everything else was wonderful!"

"We spent a long weekend meeting up with family who were staying just a mile away. The location was perfect—conveniently close to the beach, great restaurants, and plenty of island amenities. The 2-bedroom space was clean and well-appointed, with a stocked kitchen (though we’d recommend bringing extra spices if you’re planning to cook often). "We were in Avon to windsurf for two weeks. The house is set up well for this. The house also has a great layout for couples, with each bedroom having it's own bath. Betty is a pleasure to work. We love Hatteras."

"This was the most charming, well decorated and clean rental. It was just my husband and I but it would have fit a few more if necessary! Everything is brand new and it even had an outdoor shower/bathroom. The owners checked in with us and responded to our emails immediately! We will be definitely be staying here again!"

"Upon arriving cottage was clean and bright. The entire visit was comfortable The cottage was lacking nothing. Many times renters will scrimp on mattresses, but this place was top-notch. We will look forward to returning."

"The house could’ve been a lot cleaner. As we stayed over the a full week, you could tell the house was not cleaned thoroughly and we found trash in and outside the house. To finish out the week, we ran into an ant problem and no one from Vacasa never followed up. For the price, it was a rip off and totally disappointed."

"This was our first time staying in Avon. This was a cozy room in a great location. The Avon Pier was right across the street. Coffee in the cafe was delicious and convenient. Dawn was accommodating and had great recommendations for area restaurants. We also enjoyed a clay class and made our own coffee mugs. What a great experience. "

"We had an incredible stay! The house was extremely spacious everyone had their own room and bathroom, which made it so relaxing. The beds and sheets were clean, the kitchen and dining room were roomy, and there were even extra spaces we didn’t use, like the sunroom and cozy nooks. The master suite was my favorite waking up to the sunrise from the balcony while sipping coffee was a dream. The beach was just steps from the backyard, which made it easy to take our Husky, Aspen, out without worry...

"The property has a rustic cabin, old beach house feeling. The kitchen is well stocked. Loved the barrel dining table. Loved sitting on screened in porch playing games at night. Short walk to the beach was a plus ! Needs some upgrades like new screening on porch and half bath fixtures and would suggest a ceiling fan on the screened in porch ( we bought a box fan for our stay).. Other than that we loved our stay there!"
