"This was the first time I used this hotel. It was in a nice area and close to some of the sites I wanted to see. I could walk easily to restaurants and public transportation. The staff in the hotel and at breakfast were very helpful and pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the room was in good condition. It was noticeable that my room was cleaned every day. It made me want to leave a tip."

"This small, reasonably priced, well-located hotel is incredibly clean, the rooms are quiet (although the air conditioner does make sound when it goes on and off), the staff is very helpful and there is a great bar/restaurant attached. It's two blocks away from Union Station and besides its own restaurant, there are several others within a 10 minute walking radius. The downside for us is that there isn't a coffee maker in the room. There are two machines for everyone's use on the 2nd floor, but...

"My husband and I spent five days in Washington DC to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. This hotel was absolutely perfect for our purpose. The rooms were clean and modern and the rooftop event they had the evening of the Fourth of July was a lot fun. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel is only half a mile from the Washington monument. Loved the location!"

"Everything about our stay was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The only thing that was not very good was breakfast at Capitano. We ordered lemon ricotta waffles and they were cold and dry. The bacon was soggy and the coffee was not hot. However, there are other options for breakfast nearby. Colada Cuban Cafe was awesome and only a short walk."
