"This is a great hotel, the price and the quality is top notch. I think the only downside is the block south of the property so if you’re not use to homeless people with mental issues ( which leave you alone) you might be surprised but if you stuck to the north and east you are fine everything is super walkable. The staff is also very friendly and just down to earth"

"Great location. We walked everywhere. Food, bars, transportation, pharmacy was not too far, groceries next door, walked to the Hop On Hop Off Trolley. It was not that far from the hotel. "Everything is good. However, I was confused a lot while chekcing in because of mandatory velit parking. It could be much more better to have a clear sign notice at the entrance. Meanwhile, I also wonder the rule that no children from 8:00 to 10:00 pm in the swimming pool because the parent have to take care of them. Maybe it is for those adults who travel without kides?"

"This may have been the best hotel stay I have ever had. The hotel itself is in a great location, is well decorated and very comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I was so surprised to be provided with a lovely bottle of wine when we checked in. We were also present on a night when there was live music on the rooftop with more wine. "It was a good hotel with a nice location and helpful staff, but there was a hidden fee. They charged me during check-in, and Expedia didn’t include this extra charge, so I had to pay an additional $29 per day, which didn’t make sense."

"The hotel is in the worst part of Portland. They have no parking unless you pay an $80 valet fee. This you have to pay since there is no parking in the streets unless you want to risk parking in an area full of junkies and thieves. The Hoxton knows this, hence the ridiculous “valet fee” plus tip! I was able to park my car in a parking garage after a half hour of stress and exhaustion from my trip. Turns out that’s EXACTLY the place they park the valeted cars you pay $80 for!! RIPOFF JOINT"
