"The Mill Hotel is in an excellent position, overlooking the mill pond and adjoining common. There is ample parking nearby and it is just a short walk into the lovely town of Sudbury. There is an attractive restaurant and bar, with feature water wheel, and the food was good. The rooms were well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Due to the historic age of the hotel, there's no lift, which would have caused me problems if my room had been on an upper floor."

"What a delightful place to stay for a short break in the Suffolk borders! Beautiful spacious rooms and first class restaurant food at dinner to complement the generous breakfast options. The staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised how good the value for money was and we belatedly realised this is part of the same group as another of our favourites, The Maltings in Weybourne.. We are already planning a return visit in the near future it was so...

"No food Monday or Tuesday, the only food available is a Chinese in the village that doesn't take card (cash only). Not sure about other rooms but room 4 the Internet is terrible on all the networks and no phone signal either. Room is not made up or restocked during the day. The pub car park is small and the patrons seem to abaddon their vehicles all over the place which mean you can't get parked. There is a fridge in your room🌟 Would I stay again 🤔 doubt that very much. I wish the owners...

"No signs for the exit in the ladies pool changing room, and nowhere to leave your room key, which activates your locker, if you can work out how to do it. Nice pool and jacuzzi though, rooms could do with a deep clean, but daily basics are done and it's comfortable. Staff are very helpful and happy to help with queries, rooms spacious and mine had a lovely view, plenty of (free) parking."

"Nice staff. But walls peeling in bathroom, door entry into room has huge gap underneath so you can hear everything in and out of the room. Flies buzzing around, bins being emptied at 8am next to our room. Mould in bathroom"

"Heating in the initial room was not able to be turned on. No equivalent room was available. I was told I would have to pay for an upgrade or stay in a freezing cold room. Finally, 2 hours later, I was advised I would be moved to another room at no additional cost. This should have been athe immediate and unquestioning solution. Very disappointing.
