After arriving late in the evening, around 11:45 PM, I was disappointed to find a room that felt extremely dated and in need of significant renovation. The furnishings and overall condition of the room gave an old, neglected impression, and cleanliness did not meet my expectations. The experience was so disappointing that, had it not been so late, I would have looked for alternative accommodations...

I was in Houston for care at MD Anderson Cancer Hospital and the staff made every effort to keep me comfortable and make every second perfect for me. "This is not a typical hotel—it's a mixed-use building that includes apartments, hotel rooms, and shared office space. I think this should be disclosed more clearly before booking. That said, the building itself is very nice, modern, and exceptionally clean. The room was beautiful, and the city views were outstanding. Waking up to the morning sunrise over the skyline was a real highlight of the stay. One thing to keep in mind is that there aren't many places within easy walking distance, so...

"The breakfast could be extended a little more, but I understand that they were on a special occasion but they do not make the guests feel welcome. I didn't like the treatment yesterday in the middle of the event they had, especially one of the managers who didn't allow us to get on the advisor and we had to go up the ramp. Only the people who received my suitcase and one of the waitresses were the only ones who served us well."

"The most recent reviews is what led me to book. The reviews from 2023 were not very favorable so apparently major overhaul of the rooms has been done. No clamoring smell was in our room. I like the fact that there isn’t any carpet! Bed was ok…not the best but not the worst either. I would stay here again. The price was excellent compared to where it’s located. Didn’t use any of the amenities because was simply there for an early medical appointment."

"Facility was nice. DRIFTRS, the management company, is really bad. We were there for 4 days. Upon arrival we noticed no toilet paper and half the light bulbs burned out. The place was so dark I needed a flashlight to use the kitchen. We reported these issues immediately. They told us to use kitchen paper towels as toilet paper and did not respond to all the burned out light bulbs. We woke up every morning with the apartment hot and stuffy. The NEST thermostat is programmed to continually...

"The property is in a safe community even though this may not be the first impression when checking in. Staff is super friendly and cooperative. The property itself is quite old with recent management change. The room was very basic but clean, particularly the bathroom. The floor AC was noisy. The bed smelled of smoke that made my allergies kick in and resulting in a disturbed sleep. Very few electrical outlets."
