"If I were single I could live here. It's that comfortable. The freestanding apartment is ideally located and finished to a very high standard. Amazingly well designed and laid out. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bath. Many, many conveniences. Cafe table in garden outside. We parked once and walked everywhere. Lovely host. Really, I can't imagine anyone giving it less than a perfect score. Would definitely stay here again."

"Hannah was such a good communicator and so helpful for my husband and I… We were in Ashland to visit friends and it was such a great place to be. So centrally located but also spacious and clean and beautiful… We would stay there anytime and hope to stay there again"

"We enjoyed a lovely night at the Mountain Retreat. Our hosts were very accommodating and great at communicating. The space is generously appointed with comfortable chairs, beds, and a fully stocked kitchen. When we came back from dinner there was a buck standing on the porch! You are truly in the mountains and we really enjoyed the quiet evening. We also appreciated the generous second bedroom for our son who was happy with a break from the parents! Beautiful location and lovely accommodations....

"The property was cheerful and comfortable in a lovely setting. There is a helpful welcome book and all the cabinets are labelled.The only low note is that I got lost getting there. If you start in the middle of town, Main St. splits at one point. The right side takes you where you want to go. The left leads you to California."

"Our room was clean and comfortable. Attention to detail. The light fixtures convinced of outlets. Wish we had time to take a bath in the relaxing looking tub. The bed and furniture were interesting and so comfortable.Parking and walkable to town. We loved the sweet personal note letting us know someone was there if we needed them. Wish we had more time to stay. Thank you!"

"The host and owner have given the studio very thoughtful attention to detail to make it charming and comfortable. Both host and owner were very friendly and helpful. It was perfect for the three of us. "

"This house was so lovely and convenient. It was nice to leave the truck parked in its spot and walk to shops and restaurants. The house itself was open and comfortable with plenty of room for the both of us. And of course that kitchen had everything we could have asked for."

"I absolutely fell in love with this property it was so beautiful from the moment we drove up the hill to see this gorgeous house at the top. The yard and garden was a surprise. I wasn’t expecting to have such a peaceful place to stay the pictures don’t even do it justice. I would definitely Want to stay there again when I come to visit family. "

"What a lovely, well put together cottage. Our host kindly let us check in an hour early to get ready for a wedding. The floors were freshly mopped and everything sparkled. I loved the cute little garden outside. "
