"A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Very good standard of food. The classic room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Perfect for a relaxing break once you have negotiated the 1.5 mile single track road to the hotel!"

"Wonderful pub and accommodation. The people are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This 16th century public house still supports many original features making its atmosphere charming. The room was fairly small, a double bed and the small wardrobe made it tight to get to the bathroom but it was very clean and comfortable. "We had a great stay , our one little gripe was that the pub closed at 8.30 on Saturday night, and was closed after 5 on Sunday night, are room was great and we will return.🙂"

"Little fly fishing break for hubby. Lovely room with all the facilities, except a telly; this was a bonus though. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. Will definitely be back for more fishing!"
