"Great location!! It’s about 5minute walk from the main shopping area (Laugavegur). There’s no staff on site for check in but a clear detailed instruction was provided. It was easy, The common areas such as the lobby and kitchen were minimalist and modern design. No airconditioning as it’s common in Europe. "Super friendly staff, location was convenient and close to downtown. Rooms were clean and washroom was a good size. We stayed in the family suite which was located on the first floor (main floor was 2nd). The wifi was not working on the first floor but did work on main and 3rd floor. Rooms do not have a telephone if you need room service, so you'll need to go to front desk to get help."

"Absolutely great. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Very spacious, spotless clean, totally fell in love with the floors. The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. The owner was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again. "

Location is the key - if you plan to drive from Reykjavik to National parks for hiking and sightseeing, it has an excellent location on the East edge of town, very accessible. Pretty close to Costco gas station as well, which is well worth to save money on very expensive gas (just like everything in Iceland).
