"This property was awful. It was very hard to find, and felt unsafe. It is essentially a garage building with the rooms on top of the garages. The garages were filled with trash and construction materials, and they were doing construction for hours late into the night while we were trying to sleep after a long travel day. There were also not enough towels for 3 people and the bathroom had no amenities like body soap or shampoo. If the room had wifi, there were no instructions on how to access it...

"Unresponsive host. Has to reach out to Expedia so we can get an access code to enter the property. The key are in a lockbox and make sure you will get the lockbox code prior to coming to the property.
The house is okay to spend a night. WiFi is good."

"This property is located in the suburbs of Reykjavik -- on the eastern edge of town. There is an important issue not made clear on the Expedia listing: there is no receptionist. Nobody is there at the site. Even if you book here on Expedia, the owner will email you a code that you use to enter the property and your room. I did not know this and got stranded at the door searching for the email for about 10 minutes. The apartment itself was quiet, spacious and bright -- I liked it. Downside is...
