"This house is cozy with two bedrooms and a full kitchen. It is nicely decorated and clean. It is in a great location and well stocked. Both beds are hard and uncomfortable. A pillow top is needed. The curtains in the bedrooms are white and sheer. Therefore its too bright in the mornings. Need darker curtains. The listing included a firepit and free wood, none of which were found on the property. The two small lamps in the living room do not provide enough light. A main light fixture in the...

"We had a great time. It was a close drive to Galena and still secluded to feel like we had a private getaway. We had deer come to drink by the creek, and a nice area for a bond fire. The home was beautiful and the owners were really nice. We would definitely book again."

"This apartment was beautiful, in a perfect location, right above a very cool cafe and walking distance to everything. There was a minor mix-up with the housekeeping upon our arrival, which was taken care of quickly by management, who went above and beyond to make right. We would definitely recommend this apartment and look forward to our next stay!Oh and the huge hot tub was a great way to wind down the day. "

"Very clean & tastfully decorated including antique touches (40s) with modern conveniences. "

"We enjoyed the stay. The view from the front porch is excellent. The beds could be upgraded to queen size and a more comfortable sitting area in the main living room would really upgrade the experience. "

"We had a group of women celebrating a 50th birthday! This place has the cutest decor, plenty of room, and the location could not be any better! I will be staying here again!!"

"Great little house. Very clean and well maintained. The stairs are a little steep for us older folks, but other than that no complaints at all!"

"The cabin was great for a weekend getaway. The cabin was fully stocked and we enjoyed a nice, quiet stay at the cabin. We also explored the area with short drives to a supper club in East Dubuque and shopping in Galena. The place had everything we could want and we would definitely stay again!"
