Ostal Paut - ARZENS - Gîte

It is here in Arzens, a charming village in the Aude region less than 10 minutes from Carcassonne, where you’ll stay in a vacation rental located in a quiet setting yet close to everything. Welcome to Ostal Paut! The village itself is home to many shops and services located about 200 meters from the house: a grocery store, restaurant, bakery (right next to the cottage), a pharmacy, and other food shops. You can do everything on foot without needing to take the car! Another highlight of both the village and the cottage is its location—you’ll be less than half an hour from several of the region’s gems: the medieval city of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, the book village of Montolieu, Castelnaudary (the world capital of cassoulet), Limoux, known for its blanquette and famous carnival, and the magnificent landscapes of the Montagne Noire, the Lauragais, and the Upper Aude Valley. The cottage is centrally located near all the department’s amenities. There are plenty of activities to enjoy with friends or family: hiking trails, bike rides, exploring the region’s vineyards, and tasting local products—the region is yours to discover. On-site, the cottage features a large, fenced-in outdoor area where you can park your vehicles, enjoy meals al fresco, or simply relax in the sun on the garden furniture. A barbecue is available during the warmer months. The cottage opens on the first floor onto a long hallway that leads you through various living areas: a cozy little lounge with a small bed, a dining room with a table, chairs, a TV, and a bench. A fully equipped separate kitchen. A separate bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a 140-size bed. Three other bedrooms complete the upper level, each with a 90-size bed. Sheets, towels, and end-of-stay cleaning are included. Reversible air conditioning upstairs.
