"I stayed here after tramping of routeburn track. I was so exthousted after walking over 15km under the sun, the staff kindly welcomed us. Everything I experienced here was so beautiful and comforting. Fortunatly, the weather was fine so we could view the exquisit view of the mountains and lake. "Another visit at Rendezvous staff member on check in could have been a bit more welcoming. Meal in restaurant was disappointing, but the staff were very accommodating in resolving issue. Room and facilities excellent as usual, bed very comfortable."

"The cottage was roomy and gorgeous. Bed was divine. Kitchenette has basic tools for make a simple meal, although the cafe/bar also offers delicious salads, pizza, and platters. The tasting included in your booking is really wonderful. We enjoyed walking around the vineyards and grounds after everyone left in the evening and seeing the sunset on the hills. We were biking, so it was a convenient starting place to the day."

"We stayed in two different rooms as we added a night last minute. The decor was fun; the bathrooms were exquisite; the space spacious. Breakfast was delightful and tasty. Happy hour was a nice touch and allowed us to meet other guests. The front porch had the most spectacular view of the town and water and was enjoyable to hang out on.The hostesses were gracious, helped with reservations, luggage and parking the car. "The layout of hotel a bit of a maze and finding it at night difficult. Roads unsigned and hotel sign at night difficult to see. Ground floor labelled 4. Room was on 4 but not same 4 as entry.- several lifts away. No porter to show your room for first time. "
