Great little place in a convenient location

Easy check in, good communication with owner, conveniently located 2 blocks from the square where we enjoyed Farmers Market and dining at a lovely Italian restaurant. Also 2 blocks from Safeway if you want to make your own meals. Fairly qiet location

Close to lots that Arcata has to offer. Comfortable lodging, quiet, with lots within walking distance. We spent daily hikes in the Community Forest.

Great place

Loved to stay, close to downtown, dedicated parking, great Internet and TV. Great host. Will come again. PS. If you read this, stay and like the place you are not allowed to leave a good review, Otheriwse the place will fill up! Just kidding.

My Other Home

Everything that was promised was delivered. The apartment was perfectly situated for a walking vacation. Everything I needed was available at downtown markets, stores, and cafes. The Arcata Marsh, my favorite spot, was only about 4 blocks away. I stayed a whole month. The price was affordable and the weather cooperated most of the time. My friends had no trouble finding me if they came to pick me up.

Excellent Downtown Apartment!

We were thoroughly pleased with everything the apartment had to offer. Comfy and cozy furniture, great linens and the gas fireplace is a nice touch. Also a very convenient location close to the main downtown shopping/dining area.Also a shout out to Larry, the host, for being exceptionally helpful! Always available to answer any questions in short order. We will definitely consider this apartment the next time we come to Arcata!

Cozy and comfortable, good location.

My husband and I stayed here to visit family. The place was clean, welcoming, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. So comfy, that we decided we needed to buy a new bed for home. The host was kind and very helpful. The apartment is within walking distance of shopping, dinning, and community events. Instructions for check-in were clear and easy, and the host took care of everything during check out (empty trash, cleaning bedding/towels, etc.) I recommend this stay and hope it’s available for our next trip up to Arcata.

Perfect location!

We had a great stay at this property! The location is excellent as you are within walking distance to the square, many restaurants and shops, and a couple of large grocery stores. The street is very quiet but there is quick freeway access if you are traveling around the area. The apartment is nicely furnished and has plenty of room for a couple. The bed was extremely comfortable! Larry, the owner, communicated frequently before and during our trip to make sure we knew where everything was and if we had any questions. There is a dedicated parking spot right in front. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We will definitely stay here again for our next visit!

Perfect place for us

The apartment is located in a quiet, convenient place. The private parking in front ot the unit felt very secure. The apartment is well furnished for comfort. We especially appreciated the kitchen for preparing our meals.

Feels like home

Lovely VRBO that's perfect for two people. Location is close to Arcata square and shops. The home has everything you need for your stay. The bed is comfortable and bathroom has hot water and nice big fluffy towels. We will definitely stay here again.

Cozy getaway

We were there for my daughter's graduation from Humboldt. Our stay was perfect! Just 2 blocks from downtown shopping and dining. Well equipped. My only complaint was it was so comfortable I found it hard to pull myself out of bed in the morning to start my day! Thank you so much to our fabulous host!

Nice inside space and furnishings. Amazing comfortable bed. I didn’t want to get out of it. Nice stocked kitchen. Good coffee. Plush bath towels. Nice living room with a big tv and Bose soundbar. Location is good being two blocks to the town center with nice restaurants and shops. Lots of early morning 6 am, road noise . Need to be careful walking at night regarding the homeless people! Can’t beat the price compared to a hotel!!
