"This property was my style of hotel, lots of character with a charming secret garden to dine in, but very modern rooms. Even had a towel warmer! Like all European hotels, they don't provide wash cloths, but I just used the corner of a towel since I had forgotten to bring a wash cloth. Not a big deal. "Loved the service in the greenhouse room where we had a 70th birthday party. Terrible service during the day in the bar, when we sat on the patio for a few hours. Only one bloke on his own who didn't cope well. Bar closed early at night time. Would expect it to stay open longer for residents on a Saturday night. "

"We have stayed here previously for a festival and found the food really tasty with incredibly generous portions, lovely friendly staff and nice rooms for a great price which was the reason we chose again this year. Unfortunately, we are not sure if we can stay again next year as hoped as the price has jumped up by almost £100 for the same weekend."
