Cozy 1 bedroom with beautiful Alaskan views

Our property is located on the south side of Anchorage, mid-Hillside. The apartment is located on the second floor of our detached garage, with a private, secure entrance. The unit has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 sofa queen pullout, and everything you need for your getaway. This quiet area has beautiful views and lots of wildlife viewing.

Perfect as our base for Anchorage, Girdwood, and Portage area activities. In a lovely convenient wooded neighborhood and just as advertised on VRBO. The stairs up to it are longer and steeper so a guest must be able to negotiate them. We are a mid 70’s couple and it was a bit challenging for me but no problem for my husband.

Three of us stayed here for two nights while visiting Seward. What a wonderful place! Spacious, clean and very comfotable. We loved the quiet location and close proximity to Seward. The deck and surroundings are beautiful and we enjoyed having a glass of wine and coffee in the morning on the deck! Would love to come back!

Beautiful. Nice kitchen and washer dryer. Wish the TV would have worked, the wifi wasn't spotty, the bed was more comfortable, and the sump pump under unit was not so loud and frequent. I would however stay here again!

The unit was wonderful, exceptionally clean. It had plenty of room for 2 people, nice sized bathroom, comfortable couch and good internet service. The kitchen had everything we needed and was also very clean. The owners communicated well. The entire visit was a breath of fresh air. I'd highly recomend it.

Changed my ticket just to stay here

I always have my truck full to the brim of equipment and expensive gear. This property is in a higher end off the beaten path neighborhood that is quiet and safe. On top of that the property is great and very clean.

Everything was perfect. The apartment seemed brand new and beautifully decorated. It was well stocked and had all the linens and cooking utensils we needed for our stay. The views were great and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet.

Wonderful quiet get-away

The whole experience was excellent. The property is well cared for and well accommodated. Perfect location - easy access to town but in the mid-hillside area with lots of trees and quiet. Highly recommend this property!
