During the 1600's Denmark was very rich, the king at the time Christian IV expanded Copenhagen by adding Christianshavn (Christians Harbour) for the large numbers of navy personnel. Christianshavn was modelled after Amsterdam. This is a vibrant street, with many different coloured houses. If you take the canal cruise you will ride down the centre, which is fun to see it from a different view.

The staff were super friendly. The room was clean and we had a good night. There were some small things that needed attention like the shower not working properly or being able to get the conditioner out but that may have been easily solved.
