"This camp was perfect for our needs for a week on the lake. We had no difficulty settling in with our family of 4 and our golden retrievers in tow. The property is well maintained, the inside of the cabin was clean and inviting. It is roomy enough that we never felt crowded for space. Everything we needed to prepare meals or play down by the water was provided. The balcony was perfect for morning coffee, sunsets and yoga. "Valcour Cottages was the perfect escape for a lake house vacation! The house was clean, perfect view of Lake Champlain, and provided wood for fire pits at night. We were able to use the tubes we brought to swim on a calm water day (there are steep steps to the water, but also a couple close beaches) The Cottages are near some gorgeous hikes! We hiked to the top of Rattlesnake Mountain and cliff jumped at Flumes Falls. Adirondack River Rental made Kayaking perfect along Ausable River! The host...

"This house was really special and lovely, the location hard to beat. You could easily get to grocery stores and local places we've loved for years, or trot down to Burlington or Waterbury. The water was rare as it's a silt bottom (rather than rocks), and very shallow. Great for little kids, or if you want to walk far out and watch the sunset. The kayaks were wonderful to use to go along the coast on calm mornings. So grateful we were able to make more memories here!"
