"From the time we arrived at the Hotel until we walked out the door everyone was amazing. From the front office helping with restaurants, tours, all the way to a birthday cake delivered to the room. The restaurant was unbelievable as well the service in the Breakfast was fantastic and so pleasing and pleasant every person in this establishment went out of their way to make sure you had wonderful experience. Rating 10 out 10. "

"Perfect location- it is central to Alfama excitement on a quiet residential street. We were generously upgraded to a balcony room and it had some of the best views of the city. Do note that because it’s a residential street rideshare companies cannot drop you off there so it is best to coordinate with the hotel to pick you up from the airport so you don’t have to drag your luggage up the hill."

"The property was exactly as described - we had a double room, and room and bathroom were spotless. Bed was comfortable and air conditioning was good. The property is located on the no 28 tram route (this starts at 6am and stops at midnight) not a concern for us but might be for some. Staff were very helpful. We found some really good small restaurants within 5 minutes walk of our accommodation. Would recommend staying here if visiting Lisbon."

"the loft apartment is centrally located in the old town, which is 3 mins walk from st luzia and the miradourna sol. The view from the room is great from both the dining place and loft bed. however, i guess its the issue for all apartments in the old town, ceiling is quite low and area is quite small. and seems like many business around the old town are setting up small businesses and bars on the already quite narrow road. can be quite noisy sometimes. and i also see quite a few insects...

"Notre séjour chez Lioz fut tout simplement magnifique! À commencer par l’accueil, l’accompagnement et installation dans notre super appartement qui était de couper le souffle. Immeuble refait à neuf très récemment avec beaucoup beaucoup de goût! La localisation est parfaite : juste à côté des endroits plus touristiques (terreiro do paço, Alfama) mais pas de panique car l'isolation est très bien. On peut entendre parfois les voisins d’en haut mais pas dérangent de tout. On se sentais vraiment...

"It was our first time in Lisbon and we heard Alfama was one of the best areas to be in - I tend to agree! Rui was incredibly helpful and we were able to converse with him on WhatsApp. We ran into some communication issues initially as they contacted my cell phone to organize check in. I’d suggest for Rui to use email next time as my partner and I purchased eSIMs so we didn’t have our local numbers activated. We stayed in the main floor on O Patio. The washer and dryer was a huge plus for us...

"Me and my mom had so delightful and relaxing stay in Palacete Chafariz D'El Rei, we wish to come back there as soon as possible! Service is most welcoming and warm, hotel and it's rooms are absolutely stunning (we stayed in Amaya-room with the balcony and riverside view) and breakfast is unique every morning, prepared just for us and using local ingredients. Thank you Xavier & CO, it was pleasure to visit your hotel and got to enjoy your amazing service!"

"We had a great stay here. Lovely staff, very clean, great location. Wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else. The hot water sometimes goes in and out and we had some trouble getting the AC going - but that could’ve been our fault! Overall, highly recommend. Bonus, they will store your bags for a while after you check out :)"
