Cozy and comfortable

Photos & description matched for this inviting accommodation. Very pleasant & the off street parking was a great bonus. Lots of charm & nice decor. My only snag was this senior’s understanding the door code.My host quickly came to help me get in which I appreciated!

Overall very nice. The listing indicated a kitchen, this is not the case because here is no sink . A larger better working refrigerator would be great.

Amazing Place! One of the best!

We loved our stay at this Casita! Clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed! The neighborhood was quiet. Sarah was extremely nice and made checking in, checking out, and everything in between super-easy. We decided to extend our stay one extra night and she made that whole process painless, as well. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area if it is available.

Exactly what we needed

Moving the kid into UNM and the casita was the perfect spot for us to get to and from the school quickly and provided a welcome respite once we got back at the end of the day. We hope to stay here again.

This place was perfect as a base while visiting family. It was very clean and comfortable. I felt safe as a lone woman even at night. The host responded quickly to all communication. I would stay here again.

Cozy and quiet

We spent a week in this cozy and quiet property. The host always responded to any questions. It was very clean. The kitchenette is well stocked with dishes/cookware but lacks a kitchen sink, making meal preparation difficult.

hidden gem

My boyfriend and I stayed for our anniversary and Sarah was nothing but incredible! I had asked if we could even extend our trip an extra day because we enjoyed being there so much, which Sarah graciously worked out. House was adorable and the rooftop deck had the most amazing views, especially at sunset. Sarah’s sweet kitty Selva would join us outside to hang and get as many pets as she could (which we were happy to give of course)! Overall an incredibly enjoyable stay and a great location.

Everything we needed!

We had a lovely three night stay at Sarah’s casita. She’s really thought of everything to make your stay comfy (including a cloud-like bed). All cabinets are clearly labeled with various supplies and she even has a little alterations nook in the bedroom closet (complete with a steamer). It took me a second to understand the Nest thermostat but Sarah thoughtfully responded and reminded me of the video included in her digital welcome booklet sent after booking. It was a breeze after that. There’s a domed skylight in the hallway that’s frosted - during the day it looks like a conventional light. So, I felt pretty silly searching for a switch to turn it off. Be careful of the metal air intake grate located in the hallway. It runs most of the width of the hallway which makes it a little awkward to avoid, and the corners could be a problem if walking around barefoot. It would be a good idea for the owner to cover the corners with a little bit of vinyl to protect fragile feet exiting the bathroom. But we placed a bag over it to remind ourselves to step around it. I reduced one star for check-in because I had not received our entrance code by the day of our arrival and had to ask for it. Also, the cleaning person was not ready for our 4:00 pm check in and we had to wait a little longer to enter - but it was on Mother’s Day, so we understood.
