Discover your New Mexican home-away-from-home at this 3-bed, 2-bath family vacation rental! Settled in a quaint suburb just outside of Albuquerque, this Rio Rancho casa offers a perfect setting to entertain a family. Admire the Sandia Mountains view from your private patio or hike the trails in the nearby Jemez Mountains. You can try your luck at the Santa Ana Star Casino or catch a show at the Santa Ana Star Center arena. No matter your agenda, your group of 6 will love this central home base!

Our place is considered wheelchair inaccessible therefore it doesn't meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility standards.

This property is ideal for a large family with the 3rd bedroom providing plenty of space for the children or plenty of comfort for 2 adults.

This 1700-square foot home includes: The Master Bedroom: King Bed | Bedroom 2: Queen Bed | Bedroom 3: Queen Bed.

You will be very pleased with the outdoor space of Rancho del Sol which includes a barbecue grill, outdoor table and chairs for 8 on an inviting party-lit deck. Such a great setting for an evening Barbeque for the family! A view of the Sandia Mountains are a treat for evening gazing while the kids enjoy smores at the fire-pit nearby.

Inside, you'll find high ceilings and full windows, creating a spacious living area ideal for spending quality time with your whole group. Relax by flipping through channels on the flat-screen Smart TV or bring out the laughs with a silly board game.

Nothing brings family and friends together quite like a delicious meal! An arched entryway leads you into the fully equipped kitchen, where you can prepare your favorite home-cooked meal to share with the whole crew, then gather around the dining table or step out to the patio and dine with a mountain view!

Once the stars have blanketed the sky, you'll be eager to crawl under the covers of your comfortable bed. With each bedroom boasting ample closet space and dressers, you'll be able to fully unpack and make yourself at home.

Rio Rancho is a quiet suburb of Albuquerque, ideal for anyone seeking a break from the bustle of daily life. A short 10-minute stroll will bring you to Willow Creek Trailhead and the Open Space, where you can take in the high desert surroundings. You can reach popular hiking and biking trails of the Sandia Mountains within 30 minutes and the Jemez Mountains within an hour and a half or make the 1-hour journey to marvel at Cabezon Peak's volcanic wonder. Other hiking options include Boca Canyon (16.1 miles), Pueblo Montano Trailhead (13.0 miles), Rio Grande Nature Center State Park (16.0 miles), Cibola National Forest (18 miles), Santa Fe National Forest (58.9 miles), and a little further but worth the drive, the Bandelier National Monument (82.9 miles).

But, you don't have to go too far for entertainment! Grab tickets and travel just 6 miles for a concert or sporting event at Santa Ana Star Center, make the 2-mile drive to try your luck at Santa Ana Star Casino or venture a few miles further out to the Sandia Resort & Casino. Local attractions for the whole family include playground splash-park "A Park Above", J&R Vintage Auto Museum, Elevate Trampoline Park, and Acequia Vineyards & Winery, all within a 10-mile radius of home. In Santa Fe (~58 miles), enjoy Meow Wolf, Santa Fe Plaza Inc, The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, and the Loretto Chapel to name a few popular sites.

If you're into golfing, try out one of our beutiful local golf courses. Santa Ana Golf Club (4 miles), Twin Warriors Golf Club (4.5 miles), Paradise Hills Golf Course (9.6 miles), Sandia Golf Club (6.0 miles)

Albuquerque is under 30 minutes away and offers many attractions such as the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, TopGolf, and Old Town to name only a few. Perfect is the right word here

The title of this property states it very well. Perfect indeed. This has been the best place to stay since using VRBO. The house was clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a nice calmness within the house. We were there for a convention and it was just great returning to this property to peace and quiet that allowed us to get the rest we needed to start over the next day. The weather was great which allowed us to use the back patio to eat with a nice view. We will definitely be back the next year and looking forward to staying here again.

Very clean! Nice location.

This is a great house! Very clean, it has everything you need. Nice neighborhood. Easy check in. It does have memory foam mattresses. I’m not a huge fan of those but many are. The only real issue we had was the hot water pipes froze on our last night, preventing us all from getting hot showers in the morning but NM was experiencing record lows and the host said many homes in the neighborhood were affected. This is not the host’s fault and they did try to make it right in many ways. If I was coming back to the area in warmer temperatures, I would definitely stay here again.Thanks for everything!

Charming and spectacular view

First time visiting NM and staying here in Rio Rancho was an excellent choice. The highways to other popular towns was close by. We also found the convenience of the supermarkets down the street an excellent feature. The house itself was warm, clean, inviting, and cozy. We were all very happy staying here.

Nice place

The property was very beautiful with a great location. The listing said it was handicap accessible but it is not. There is a step on the front that my dad had a hard time with his walker and there are no kind of hand railing by the toilets. It was nice that you could seen the balloon fiesta from backyard. There were some cockroaches. The house was very clean so I guess maybe they come in from the outside since they were by the back door. We also had a smoke detector that went off in the hallway at about midnight waking the whole house up. Was very difficult to get it shut off since the battery was low. Maybe something that should be maintenance more regularly. There was a game room in the garage but we were not able to enjoy any of it do to the chemical fumes out there.

Our stay in New Mexico was absolutely wonderful for our family. The property was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. Comfortable visit

This was a convenient location and good space for us to relax while we were in town. Arrival was quick and easy, and while we didn't use the outdoor patio area it looks nice and a wonderful view. The walk-in jetted tub may be quite appealing to those with limited mobility, though we didn't specifically test it out ourselves. Found all of the stuff we needed during our short stay.

Baseball Tournament stay

This house was perfect for our family to stay in while we were attending a baseball tournament. Shari was more than accommodating for our crazy schedule. I think our favorite spot of the house was the back yard (me and my husband) for the kids, it was most definitely the garage area.

Amazing View of the Mountain !

This property had everything you would need for a great stay. The host thought of everything. We were greeted by flowers and a basket full of snacks. The garage was converted to game area and backyard fire pit were a hit. The location is perfect near grocery stores, restaurants and the interstate. We would highly recommend this home.

Perfect property and location

Lovely home from home for us while visiting friends locally. We particularly appreciated the basket of snacks and stock of bottled water after a long drive to get there - that was a really nice touch. The property is great; very clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood.

Awesome property in Rio Rancho

The house was perfectly clean and looks better than the pictures. The owners were very friendly and informative, they even provided a snack basket with goodies for us and my kids. The home had everything we needed and plenty of room for everyone. The garage was great for playing ping pong, foosball, darts, and cards. The backyard has plenty of seating with beautiful views of the mountain and a gas grill with a full tank of propane and a charcoal grill with charcoal provided. It was perfect for our stay in Rio Rancho and we hope to come back next year.

Excellent location and clean accommodations.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, and the game room was an added bonus for my 3 kids. The location was perfect for us and close to restaurants and Walmart. The area seemed really safe and the neighborhood was quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay!

We had a great vacation and stay in the home. The place was in a great location and was an amazing find. Nice, clean and perfect for our family get away. Shari is an amazing host and the communication was great. So many nice touches added by the host that were greatly appreciated. The area the home was located in was quiet and had a great view of the mountains. We would definitely stay at this house again.
