"we had a great stay at lake side nikko! the lady at the front was incredibly sweet and accommodating :) the room was spacious and came with all necessities. if you have heavy luggage be ready for a workout since there are no elevators. otherwise great service and comfortable stay! 10/10"

"宿がとても綺麗でした。スタッフの方もとても親切で、お部屋もお部屋の設備もとても素晴らしくて、何よりもベッドとお風呂が最高でした。 別邸を泊まりましたが、素泊まりで、ハーゲンダッツ食べ放題、ベットは広くてくっつけられたので広々泊まれました。お風呂は半露天風呂で外の空気も景色も抜群。カップルはもちろん家族もとてもおすすめです。観光も、徒歩で東照宮も行けるので楽しめました。"

"vriendelijk personeel op wandel afstand van de meeste grote attracties in nikko. eerste ryokan bezoek dus ik kan niet vergelijken maar het personeel was zeer duidelijk over de regels en de verwachtingen waren. Ook zeer goed eten gehad met de keuze van welke vis je wou. Voor een eerste ryokan bezoek was dit perfect "

"Nice new building & modern rooms, friendly staff, convenient and free parking. Walkable from the train station but is uphill and not very close (probably not a good idea with bags). The property offers free transfers from the station, but only hourly and just a few times a day - I would not consider this a negative though given the hotel is affordable and taxi rides are cheap.
