"From the time we tried to check-in the woman that greeted us was aggressive and told us to wait in the waiting lounge. Then we could check-in Declan told us that we needed to pay for our accommodation but when I told that I had paid he took our documents and did not return them. We had a two stay and consequently left without documents. On contacting the hotel we were told the only wat to retrieve our was to send a self-envelope and they would send them to us. That wasn't suitable in the frame...

"Large bungalow style room with full disability access and wet room.
Stylish. Comfy beds. Check in lady was friendly. Room was left open when we arrived but no electricity so had to go find someone. Bathroom bin had not been emptied but otherwise clean. Struggled to find someone serve us behind the bars. Breakfast was a little anaemic but good quality and tasty. Plenty of parking near the room Would stay again."

"Very disappointing stay, particularly considering the price paid.
The room was comfortable and the shower good, but housekeeping standards declined throughout our stay. Even after servicing, sheets were not changed, the floor was not hoovered and the bathroom was not mopped.
Breakfast was poor in both quality and service, and got worse as the week progressed. We ate in the restaurant one evening and paid premium prices for very poor food. The pizza appeared to have a shop-bought base and...

"The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. However, the room needed some TLC. The showerhead sprayed water in all directions, the toilet did not flush very well, and the bedsheets could have been cleaner, as there were marks that looked like possible oil stains.
The bathroom could also do with a new blind, as the existing one had yellow staining. The room itself was comfortable, but unfortunately, the sash windows were left closed but unlocked which we did not discover until the...

"My experience at Village Hotel Leeds South was highly unsatisfactory. There was a noticeable smell of drugs throughout the corridor, particularly near the entrance, which was both unpleasant and concerning. The situation was compounded by a strong odour coming through the ventilation system that smelled like sewage or toilet waste.
The lifts were not functioning during my stay, creating additional inconvenience. Furthermore, building or maintenance work taking place outside the hotel produced...
