"good place to just get away from all the noise of everyday life and watch a great sunset. do be aware though there are some cactuses around the property so if you have an animal bring some boots and tweezers for them"

"Great stay at Hummingbird Hideaway! Gorgeous views, ample space, great accommodations. Be aware that it is very rural - approx 17 minutes just to get back to the highway, then another 30 minutes to the next town. Very quiet, great stargazing and wildlife. Highly recommend!"

"The property and ammenities were great. The only drawback was noise of the TV and the people staying in the adjoinging property. I was not aware that I was sharing this property with other guests. Other than that it was a well a great place for the night."

"My wife and I were traveling from Colorado Springs to Albuquerque and wanted to stop along the way to break up the trip. This property fit the bill to a tee. The apartment was clean and stocked with everything (even sodas and some cookies), The bed we used was fantastic. We liked it so much we went shopping and made our own supper. The property manager communicated effectively."

"We loved this place! So close to all the trails that we could walk to from our condo or just drive around the corner to. The views from both the front and back balcony were great. We hope to stay here again soon."

"Wonderful cabin. Well built; well furnished; well equipped. A great base for hiking in the San Isabel National Forest."

"Our hosts (G&M) were very responsive, provided fresh cookies, an extra reclining lawn chair, and gave us a great tip to view dark-sky stars over at nearby Trinidad Lake. I highly recommend you give this tiny home a visit if in the area."

"We enjoyed our stay at the cabin very much! We especially loved the outdoor space. We brought our portable propane firepit and enjoyed playing horse shoes and just sitting under the large trees having conversation and cocktails. The location to the Village is awesome to bike or hike to. The front patio was awesome for morning coffee and afternoon drinks while enjoying the view. The back deck was super zen while swinging and listening to the creek and the birds. The interior is a little dark...
