"We have been traveling and using Expedia for over 20 years. We booked this hotel via Expedia more than a month before our stay with a “pay at hotel” rate. The hotel decided to cancel our reservation in the morning of our arriving due to some cc pre authorization issue without any attempt whatsoever of contacting us. We got many other messages from the hotel - via the Expedia messaging - with confirmation and welcome messages but none about an issue with pre authorization. We only found out when...
