"The 4-star rating at Union Hotel is a joke and does not reflect reality. Do not book here. We arrived at 2:00 a.m. after a delayed flight with a reservation confirmed over a month in advance. Despite this, the front desk told us no room was prepared. We were forced to wait in the lobby while they hastily cleaned a room that had only just become vacant. Being told at 2:00 a.m. that a confirmed booking isn't ready is a total failure of their system. The rest of the stay was equally substandard....

"This hotel was centrally located and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see/do. We felt safe in the neighborhood. There is a cable car right outside the hotel which we did use once to get to the distillery district. There is also a Shoppers Drug Mart down the block. We got a room with an amazing view of the CN tower. Such a beautiful sight at night. Our room (two beds) was spacious. Lots of storage space for two adults and a child. The beds were comfortable.
