"There is NO ELEVATOR so beware if booking a room upstairs. The did offer to help us carry suitcases up the stairs but we ended up doing it ourselves. Being an old lady, my suitcase almost tumbled down their beautiful staircase the morning we checked out. All else was great!"

"This is a great hotel to stay in when visiting Newport. Great location and service from all staff. The room was ready and cleaned daily. A shuttle takes hotel guests to and from hotel to Thames street where all shops and eateries are. We enjoyed our time here and will visit again next time."

"Check in took 45 minutes; they blamed Expedia and charged me more for the realigning balance than what my receipt said. The Club House is nice and modern. You can tell the campers are beaten up: doors do not close, chipped wood on doors and cabinets. Dirty floor only swept not mopped. Broken rails on the deck."

"Flawless experience! Everything was perfect.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Forty 1 North. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the overall experience was outstanding. It is hands down the best place to stay in Newport, Rhode Island. Highly recommended!"
